Microsoft Outlook Unresponsive Fix

If Outlook won’t open, it has usually crashed, and you need to force the process to quit manually.

Once done, Outlook will open again and you can get back to work.

Instructions:

  1. Right click the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, and click on Task Manager: The task bar is the black bar at the very bottom of the windows desktop.

2. Once there, click on more details:

3. In the processes tab (on this tab by default), scroll down the background processes tab and look for Microsoft Outlook. It should be grayed out, as it is stopped working.

Right click the Microsoft Outlook task and click on End Task. Once this is done, you will be able to open Outlook as you normally do.
