Converting Video files for Powerpoint
Preferably use .wmv for powerpoint instead of .MOV (114 mb instead of 1.5 gb) Also contains .wav audio codec so no static.
To do so, use VLC, then go:
https://www.vlchelp.com/convert-video-format/
Here is how you convert video using VLC Media Player:
From VLC menu bar click on Media > Convert/ Save [Shortcut: CTRL + R]
Open Media dialog box is opened. Click on the Add button to browse for the files that you want to add. Then click Open.
3. Then choose Convert/save, and choose .wmv or mp4, and save it (use the video format as fil extension also).
4. The VLC file window will look as if progressively playing a video, but that is the conversion from .MOV to .WMV happening. Once finished, it will save.
5. Then open your pptx slide and insert the video file and it will play and sound perfectly.
