The Samsung Note 7 unveiling is only a few weeks away now, and as a user of the note phones (still using a Note 3 from 3 years ago), I can’t wait.  So far the details that have been reported online include the fact it will be released in three colours; Black Sapphire, Silver Titan, and Dark Blue (I’ll probably choose blue).

It is also reported it will be released with USB C charging.  USB Type C-Port means that it will deliver faster data delivery speeds (5-10Gps, compared to USB 2.0 480mbps).  Resolution will be 1440x2560, 5.7” screen, even though a 6-inch screen has been reported, we think this was done in error, or mis-reported.

It will have single or dual sim options, Android Marshmellow 6.0.1 operating system.  The processor options will be dual core kryo 2.3 ghz & dual core 1.6 ghz Kryo; or quad core 2.6 ghz + quad core 1.6 ghz.  Internal memory options will be 64/128/256 GB and 6GB RAM.

Cameras will be 12MP read and 5MP front. Video will be 1080 at 60fps and 2160 at 30fps.  The sensors will include Iris scanner, fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, compass, and heart rate to name a few.  Browser will be HTML5, with no JAVA.  It will also include fast battery charging, and wireless charging with optional extras.

It will include a non-removeable 4000mAh battery with reported 20 video run time on full brightness.
