Clear Cache for Online Backup and Recovery Manager

If you are using the Backup and Recovery Manager GUI for checking backups, and testing restores, sometimes you will find that you are not seeing the latest backed up files.

You will see that backup folders are backed up, and uploading to your cloud account, but when you look at your cloud files from within the locally installed Backup software (Infrascale Backup and Recovery Manager), you cannot see your latest files or latest test file in Backup Test (folder).

This is because the local cache folder is not updating. To renew the cache, or refresh:

1. Close OBRM (Online Backup and Recovery Manager) UI.

2. Stop Online Backup service. (Offsite Online Backup Service)

3. Go to %programdata%\Online Backup and Recovery Manager

4. Rename the file recover_%backupAccount%.com.db to old_recover_%backupAccount%.com.db.

5. Start Online Backup service.

6. Open OBRM UI and give it another try to load the list of files available for restore.
